SOME TIME AGO, WQAM's Rick Shaw dropped a bowling ball on colleague Charlie Murdock's foot. Ever alert to put any mishap to profit, the boys started an on-the-air-feud.
Murdock (4 to 7 p.m.) accused Shaw (7 to 11 p.m.) of disliking the Beatles. Then they challenged each other to a popularity contest. A two-week straw vote, they claim, brought them a total of 1,800,000 votes with Shaw the winner by 1,229,457 to Murdock's 582,504.
