PAMS Series 16 “Sound of the City” “Salute” Yours Truly WQAM We’d like to tip our hat This is from a Series 16 demo that must have preceded the commonly heard demo. WQAM had Series 15 and perhaps PAMS expected them to buy 16 also and used WQAM on this cut. WQAM didn’t buy Series 16, but WFUN did, so apparently another demo was made replacing WQAM with WHB for this cut. Another strange fact: A Rick Shaw air check from WCKR contains a Series 16 cut for WCKR! Did WCKR have Series 16 first in Miami and when they quit Top 40 then did WFUN buy the series? That makes Series 16 cuts for 3 Miami stations! If anybody knows the story of WCKR-WFUN & Series 16, please contact WQAM@560.com
